Iquitos

Red Uakari provided me with a wonderful Amazon experience! Orlando and his family made me feel safe and cared for as a solo female traveler. I had a blast traipsing through the jungle, feeding monkeyes, learning crafts in the village, fishing for pirhana among other activities. I saw so many animals and made so many awesome memories! I would totally love to visit again and would 100% reccomend!

   Good location. Just three blocks from Plaza de Armas. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helped me to arrange some tours in the city. Transfer from and to the airport was included and also breakfast. I now know where to stay next time.

   Hotel la Casona Iquitos

   When I was a child I used to dream about a house. Now I am 54 and when I get to La Casona I finally met that house. It's a very nice hotel and the staff are very attentive. The hotel decoration is a must, very interesting. My experience there was great. I recommend it for sure.
