My husband and I stayed at Pompei Valley for 6 nights. When I booked I was wanting a good value hotel with a pool, walkable to the ruins. If you enjoy walking, you can reach the main tourist area in 20 minutes. Otherwise the hotel can organise taxis at a cost of 20 euro.    We selected Pompeii Suites to be close to Pompeii for tour and regretted only staying one night. Pompeii Suites are very comfortable and perfectly equipped for longer stay. Alfonso is very helpful and knowledgeable on best way to navigate the area. We highly recommend at least several days to stay.
