Excellent. No idea why this is a 1 star- it was lovely. Perfect location just above Combarro which is a picture perfect little fishing village. The hotel is clean, well equipped and has ample parking, good wifi, views over the river, a bar and a pool. Very friendly owner, even though we booked last minute. Really recommended if you like authentic Galicia with comfort.

   Casa Rural Os Carballos

   Terrific slightly off-route stay on the Camino Portugues. A nice change of pace from the (also very pleasant) inns, hotels and apartments, this was a beautifully landscaped home with pool. Breakfast was more than ample and varied and the rooms with en suite bath were comfortable.
