This hotel was definitely the highlight of our Lijiang trip, especially with the lake-view breakfast and afternoon tea directly facing the snow-capped mountains. Our private courtyard felt like a secluded paradise. Spending each day there reading and sipping tea was truly wonderful.    This place gets a thumbs-up for its environment. The facilities are great and new (the toilet is even smart!), making it feel more like a hotel. The service attitude is also excellent. The viewing platform on the 6th floor offers fantastic scenery; I was amazed as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. Oh, and the chair in picture 5 looks incredibly comfortable!

   InterContinental Hotels LIJIANG ANCIENT TOWN RESORT by IHG

   Great views, definitely InterContinental's top-tier in China. The villa area has fresh air, and getting around is super convenient with Lijiang Ancient Town right out the back gate. Jocelyn provided professional and attentive service. I'd choose this hotel again next time I visit.
