Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Villa was very well kept, with excellent views of the ocean. Pleasantly surprised by complimentary puddings and drinks. Manual grinder and coffee beans were a nice touch. Cons: Unable to drive directly to the villa due to safety policy. This made loading/unloading luggage very inconvenient. The walk to the carpark required negotiating a slippery gravel slop

The hotel is also beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Favorite part of a wonderful onsen in Otaru. Highly recommend the stay. The food and place are wonderful.
